How should Magnetic V-blocks be maintained to preserve their magnetic force?

1. Protect against moisture
The magnets are moisture-proof encapsulated. Long-term exposure to moisture can weaken the magnetic flux. After use, the V-block should be placed in a dry environment and kept away from coolant or water mist.
2. Avoid high-temperature impact
Magnetic materials will demagnetize at temperatures above 400 °C. Do not expose the V-block to high-temperature furnaces or hot processing areas during operation.
3. Clean the magnetic surface regularly
During operation, metal chips and oil will form a thin film on the magnetic surface, affecting the magnetic force. It is recommended to gently wipe the magnetic surface with a soft cloth or a special cleaner to keep the surface smooth.
4. Prevent strong collisions
The internal structure of the magnetic block is relatively fragile. Severe collisions can cause micro-cracks in the magnet, thereby reducing the magnetic force. Handle the V-blocks with care during transportation and assembly to avoid dropping or impact.
