1. Ensure the workpiece is correctly placed and magnetized

Do not turn on the magnetic switch when the workpiece is not placed on the magnetic V-block to prevent the magnet from idling, which may cause noise or damage.

2. Control the cutting parameters to prevent overheating

The heat generated during grinding or milling can affect the performance of the magnet. It is recommended to use appropriate cutting speeds and feed rates and use coolant for heat dissipation when necessary.

3. Use protective devices to prevent metal chips from splashing

Metal chips may impact the surface of the magnetic block during grinding, causing scratches or a decrease in magnetic force. A protective cover or dust suction device should be installed to keep the work area clean.

4. Avoid operating in high-temperature environments

As mentioned above, the magnet will demagnetize at temperatures above 400 °C. Ensure that the workbench temperature is within the safe range during grinding and milling. Use a cooling system to reduce the local temperature when necessary.
