What is a magnetic base?

A magnetic base uses soft magnetic material that rapidly magnetizes and demagnetizes in a weak magnetic field, enabling strong adhesion or quick release on metal surfaces.
A handle switches the polarity of the magnet. The base adheres to steel when magnetized, and is virtually non-magnetic when horizontal, making it easy to attach and detach.
This device is commonly used to secure measuring instruments, tools, or workpieces, providing stable support without being restricted by threaded hole placement.

1. Base: A square base with an embedded permanent magnet and a magnetic switch knob for controlling adhesion and release.

How to Place the Magnet on the Base?

2. Place the Magnet: Align the north or south pole of the magnet with the magnetic surface in the center of the base and gently place it on the base.
3. Activate Magnetization: Turn the switch again to align the magnet's polarity with the base's magnetic circuit. The base is instantly magnetized, generating a strong attraction that securely attaches the magnet to the metal surface.
4. Check for Stability: Gently pull on the magnet to confirm it is firmly attached. You can then install a measuring instrument or perform machining positioning.
